Australian airports’ green credentials recognised

ACI Asia-Pacific has recognised two Australian airports for green airport infrastructure.

Sydney and Adelaide airports were named as part of the 2019 ACI Asia-Pacific Green Airports Recognition, which aims to promote environmental best practices to minimise aviation’s impact on the environment and recognise outstanding accomplishments in their environmental projects.

Sydney Airport achieved gold status for airports with 10-45 million passengers per year, while Adelaide Airport earned platinum status for airports with less than 10 million passengers per year.
