Julieanne Alroe recognised for outstanding contribution

Former Brisbane Airport Chief Executive Officer Julieanne Alroe has been recognised for her contribution to the airport industry at the AAA’s National Airport Industry Awards in Brisbane.

Ms Alroe won the Outstanding Contribution award for her groundbreaking work launching one of Australia’s biggest infrastructure projects and furthering Brisbane Airport’s connection with the community.

AAA Chief Executive Officer Caroline Wilkie said Ms Alroe has made a significant difference to the industry, especially in her home state of Queensland.

Ms Alroe oversaw the commencement of Brisbane Airport’s $1.3 billion runway project and was responsible for creating stronger connections with the wider tourism industry.
