Strong Q1 passenger growth for Adelaide Airport

Adelaide Airport recorded 2.9 per cent domestic passenger growth in the first quarter of FY2019 compared to the prior year.

New direct services to a number of domestic destinations in addition to high load factors supported the result.

International traffic was also up 2.7 per cent, driven by increased capacity as Malaysia Airlines added an additional weekly service.

The airport also recently commenced its terminal redevelopment and officially opened the new Atura Airport Hotel.
